I re-read The Dark Tower series nearly yearly (haven't read the newest one yet though). Here is my take. The Gunslinger might be the best one. It sets a specific tone and while the storytelling may not be the best, it establishes Roland as the main character and pretty accurately describes him. The next book,

I don't know the rules of Rugby. Does the first thing down matter (as his body was down before the ball), or is it only the position of the ball matter?

While I appreciate that there is talk of immigration reform, I'm not sure this is the way to do it, unless we want new immigrants to be as in debt as the rest of us. The way people are already losing their homes, having more homeless as the cost to improved immigration is probably not the way to go about it.

Did it ever get better after the first season, because I found it extremely boring.

A couple of seasons back, I said that there were only 3 reasons I'd stop watching this show: If it ended, if Eric dies, or if Tara becomes the main character.

Nah, they didn't...they actually wanted to win a race.

I also miss the original Ghost Recon. It was hard and completely unforgiving, but it was fun. The planning was amazing and the gun-play was fun.

Still no accurate damage modeling and that pop-in is pretty bad. I understand that it is still in development, but it doesn't seem like they've learned anything.

That is a pretty shoddy job...doesn't even have a fake tow-hook...

That concept is pretty amazing.

Why did they make a specific 1500-version of the Power Wagon, when the other versions are 2500s?

Here's a disgusting question: If you defecate part of the rope, can you pull the rest out?

They've already given it their "OK." Strange, I know, but they are for some reason alright with this being made.

Unfortunately, you are right. Getting something changed, or hell, done in the first place would be cause for celebration. Getting nothing accomplished? Par the course.

If I'm paying 45 large for a car, it had better look like a 45 large car, not a Malibu with an extra set of 'go-fast' vents.

Si-Trow-En

And looks like pure sex (not that that has anything to do with the prompt...).

Two questions: If humanity hasn't been on the planet for 1000 years, how could everything have evolved to kill it? And how did everything evolve so quickly?

The first 2 acts of Sunshine are fantastic. The 3rd act is horrible. It nearly ruins the entire movie. It is one of my favorite movies, but that last act is terrible.

He was an amazing Wade. The movie messed up Deadpool, not Ryan Reynolds.
