People keep saying that "the Blizzard that released Diablo 3 is not the same Blizzard that released Diablo 2" but what they don't understand is how right they are. Blizzard North, a company that doesn't exist anymore, released D2...not Blizzard.

As someone who plays hardcore exclusively...why are people buying items they can realistically get by zerging the content? Hardcore doesn't have access to the RMAH, which is where I'd think the real money could exchange hands as people would try to out-gear the content, so I'm not understanding why people are buying

That is not entirely correct. There are two scenes from the novel that involve space travel. Ender's trip to the station, and his trip with Graff to the Officer Training station.

You misunderstand what an engine is supposed to do. All an engine does is make a game pretty. This is an article concerning the engine, not a developer's game.

Blizzard's parent company isn't Activision...never has been. Activision and Blizzard are equal partners in the merger. Why, after so long, do people still not understand this?
