If you have anything in your pockets pre-checkpoint when you arrive you are wrong. When I check bags, that is when I make sure my pockets are empty. This will be my first flight without checking bags in 10 years and with a child on his first flight.

I remember looking to the guys next to me on ship (USS Comstock) and pointing out we’ll have to take our shoes off to fly someplace now. They laughed, 15 years later and I’m still right.
