Trying to watch F1 live is painful except when they race in Asia.

There’s nothing better than waking up Sunday at 9am and watching football shows and games until 8:30pm.

I know, but I find it amusing when hippies screw over other hippies.

At least they lost to the eventual champs that year.

They kind of are screwing them. Those cars won’t have the resale value if this hadn’t been brought to light.

I’m by the El Toro Y, so probably another hundred or so for me.

Leave the H1Bs out, just look at majority of California drivers and you’ve got it.

The Lexus is in a position that most normal drivers would be assuming they are turning right and appears to be stopping for the pedestrians in the crosswalk (which is a law in California). I think the bus driver is doing the right thing and the robot errored.

I’ll probably be close to 200 miles for work tomorrow and another 100+ on Friday.

My Ecotec V6 will have me run out about 50 miles short (Google Maps LA to SF 382 miles). So I’m almost right there with you.

I rent so I don’t have an electrical charging station either. So the 5 minute charge is critically important to me.

I’d be totally fine with 400 mile range and 5 minute charges.

What do you drive? 18 gallon tank says truck/SUV, but 600 miles says Diesel....

Screw per-mile taxes. You should get charged a gas tax based on your previously registered car’s mileage if you’ve purchased a hybrid or electric vehicle. You would take the EPA averages (the ones on the sticker) and the average miles driven for each state (maybe county) to come up with the amount in gallons (right?

Yes, let’s raise the most regressive tax on the books to get people into electric or more efficient cars, just for the gas tax collections to go down because more people are buying electric or more efficient cars and the roads deteriorate to gravel as a result. But hey, we’ll all have electric SUVs!

Neutral: How Best To Incentivize Electric Cars?

I fully expected CARB to order them to be bought back and sent to a crusher.

200 is to short, both of my cars get 300 miles plus out of a tank of fuel.

More than 50% goes to rent for me. But there are several factors at play for me. The rent goes up on the first of April, I took a significant pay cut, that pay cut puts me at the bottom of one tax bracket that really nails you.

Leaks get looked at the moment you report them. Depending on the solution to the leak, they can fix it that night.
