Being British i had not heard the term Scat Pack but boy do i regret looking it up.

Well, I don’t know, she’s just waitressing in a restaurant.

I can only imagine what would happen if it was a black guy who is also in the military. Their heads would probably explode from trying to figure out whether to applaud it or deride it

I went through those emotions in reverse. Canadia!

I want you to know that I was so excited that it was Canada this time, and then you crushed me with the details. ‘Murica.

Yes, I have seen the robotic cheese grater looking grille, and I actually prefer the look of the Land Cruiser.

Audis are Volkswagens.

YES! Who cares about the LX? It’s just another Lexus for those who thinks the RX isn’t expensive enough.

I consider the brand prestige of the Toyota Land Cruiser to be 7.4 million times above the Lexus LX 570.

Doug,

He was driving around the asshole who was sitting 50 feet behind the car in front. You know, there are other people who would like to get through the light.....

Exactly. Close up as much space as possible, and when the light changes, GO. It drives me nuts to see 2-4 car lengths between cars that leisurely move through a light. Every car length you leave is a person at the back of the line that didn’t make it through the light. Not saying you have to tailgate 2 feet off a

Yeah...I’m not doing that. Once I come to a stop, I’m stopped, clutch is disengaged. Moving forward every 10 seconds is just going to put wear on my clutch.

Yeah - I notice the large gaps with texters, then the rush forward - then the large gap - then the rush forward.

Driving is safer for everyone when people drive predictably.
The vast majority of drivers (even ones who leave gaps) don’t leave gaps THAT big and the confusion / opportunity it creates, well, *video*

But, that’s just asinine. If you’re that afraid of getting rear ended, don’t drive? If people left that kind of gap here in Chicago, there would be an unending traffic jam. There simply isn’t enough space between the lights for people to be afraid to pull up to the car in front in the proper manner (usually defensive

Yeah, that’s normal procedure. This guy left like three car lengths, which is just being selfish/unaware/distracted/dumb.

Really? that’s why you leave 2 carlengths? Are you the person who stops a full carlength before the white line also? You can afford to leave a little less space.

Yep, this was my first thought also. The excessive amount of space followed by the car pulling up as the truck tries to fill that space makes me think these two clowns were playing some sort of asshole games earlier in the drive that we didn’t see.

As a stick-shift driver I hate the “stop then creep up” from the car in front of me, but I do understand why people do it.
