Ok, so I didn't shoot the whole packet at once. I did it in maybe 4 or 5 shots over the course of a few minutes. And no, I didn't drink a bunch of pop to wash it down. (That would have been mega-nasty as all that salt would have made it foam up like nobody's business.)

My faves were that and the beef stroganoff. Which, as immature college students, we always called "beef strokin'-off." It even came with a… sour cream sauce packet.

Ok, so I'm not the only person guilty of eating those straight out of the can… Haven't had those in 15-20 years, but they were a staple while I was in college.

They were $0.35/ea or 4/$1.00 when I was in college ~20 years ago. (6/$1.00 on sale.)

Fun fact: When I was at my peak laziness as a college student, I used to crush up the ramen brick from a Maruchan ramen package and eat it dry, like chips. And then, for the coda, I'd shoot the flavor packet straight.

I have exactly two uses for Kraft singles: Drunken munchies, and melted on top of microwave burritos (garnished with Tabasco, Frank's Red Hot, or other suitable hot sauce). And that second one is really "drunken munchies level two."

I never heard it called that, but I think the grated Romano was probably more deserving of that title, if you had to choose which one to bestow it on. (I'd alternate between the Kraft Grated Parmesan and Kraft Grated Romano while in college.)

And quite deadly!
