I can’t believe she’s up and back to streaming so soon. I would’ve assumed injuries like this would require at least a couple months of bed rest.

Ummmm, what? “better than his Superman”? “no depiction of Superman has been good”?
Neither of those observations make any sense. Cavill’s Supes has been one of the better things that DC has cast, and honestly starting with Chris Reeve in the first big screen incarnation, there have been plenty of good versions.
I think…
Welp, there goes any sympathy I had.
What do you think the overlap in the Venn diagram is between video game players that talk about how difficult games shouldn’t have easy modes (and probably use cheese strata to get through said difficult games) and players complaining about skill based matchmaking that reveals they aren’t as good as they think.
See? Told you the PC players wanted Persona 5 :P
My thoughts exactly. ‘Is this really the example you want to cite?’ Especially when they couldn’t even say if it was about a real or a fictional character. If that situation is a reason for concern maybe do a little research on it first.
Seems like this is probably a good thing, but it does feel a liiiiittle bit weird that their example justification is what if we want to misgender/deadname someone, and Fandom won’t let us.
She’s literally married to a Heritage Foundation ghoul. Activision really loves hiring the worst people in the country.
The back paddles are game changers. You can press all at the same time without difficulty (great for fighting games) and they can be accessed without taking your thumb off the right thumbstick (great for shooters).
Not trying to defend SONY or pricing it’s just, players have been spending this or more for years now, well before this recent inflation, on SCUF and such. It’s barely more than the Elite Series 2.
People saying “wow, the rapid change in circumstance is suspicious! from someone capitalizing on their fame and life for profit too!” can fuck off.
They’ll often act like they’ve given in and given up when caught though.
Was absolute floored at this. Watching the videos of the abuse in unfolding was very painful to watch, the text messages, everything just totally abhorrent. Hoping her situation improves from here on out.
Some things to take away from this a little bit extra:
This is regular competitive, so just regular players for the most part. These complaints are certainly not from high ranked or pro players.
God can’t believe these journalists are doing such un-journalist like things such as *checks notes* reporting out on what normal people experiencing a problem have to say about said problem.
Gosh, all these complaints about Overwartch and not one article on how Splatoon players are complaining about Salmon Run in Splatoon 3 being much harder than it was in Splatoon 2.
Not to mention the constant connection errors, or maybe how long it takes to get ability chunks to customize gear unless you grind all day.
…
Their new monetization scheme makes me miss loot boxes. That says it all.
Huh. Probably a map editing tool for checking things against generic player/human height, right? Make sure everything is scaled correctly. And then they took these map beauty shots in those dev tools and didn’t uncheck a box to hide them. Kinda neat.
