Yeah, I think the last thing you said is on point. AB remains radioactive, especiallybecause they’ve done so little since the accusations came out (like, companies can’t even plausibly say they think AB is on the right path so they’re comfortable sponsoring it). And on top of that, OWL is in such a weird place—it’s

It would be cool to see this person make a "less lazy" easy mode.

To be fair, they’ve released surveys after every beta test, and then made lots of changes to the gameplay (and detailed the changes in blog posts each time). I’m sure they’ll do a poll about the gameplay, as well.

There are a lot of players who only dropped OW because of the lack of updates/content/etc., and would 100% jump back in for OW2.

It sounds like PvE is still a part of the plan, but I bet we’ll have a *very* long “beta” period until the PvE is ready. Likely well over a year.

It was clear from the beginning that OW2 was a business decision from above, I think. If Jeff had had his way, we probably would have gotten continued OW updates with a PvE “expansion.”

Love it!

I actually love the messages. It gives a weird sense of community that I really enjoy, especially when they’re accurate.

Gimme Fire/Steel, Water/Fighting, and Grass/Fairy final evolutions babyyyyyyyyy

I really wish they’d get some help with the technical side of things

I’m glad Tammy Baldwin called them out, and I hope her office genuinely tries to keep tabs on the situation.

The PS4's rest mode had some issues, too, but anecdotally the PS5 seems to be way less reliable.

It’s totally fine to do that (I do it too lol) but there’s something to be said for a core OS feature actually being functional. Like, players should be able to rest the PS5 mid-game and jump back in, worry free, just as advertised.

TBH, it feels like another (very questionable) mechanic that is supposed to create difficulty/tension/immersion: you can’t pause in the middle of an encounter to take a breath or collect yourself, thus keeping the stakes high or whatever.

Yeah, as a PS5 owner and someone who’s never really wanted an Xbox, I find myself really jealous of Series X owners. Microsoft was so thoughtful: finding ways to streamline or simplify common problems/processes. I’m not saying they’re perfect, but I think it’s awesome that with the Series MS specifically tried to

I’m always paranoid. I’ve seen a few games which show ”last saved X minutes ago” on the pause menu, and it saves me so much anxiety lol

What is washing soda used for?

Kirk Hamilton detected a disturbance in the force when Ari said to turn a HUD element on 🤣

That’s partially why it’s so frustrating that MS leadership is acting like Kotick is a good guy:

And it’s okay to keep calling them out on it, even if nothing changes.
