Totally agree. I can’t justify paying $85 just to play the new tracks.

Yeah, it was a different announcer than usual, and I like the other one better
Nintendo usually says what the Direct will cover, and rarely diverge from that. This time they said they were showing off games in the first half of 2022. (It’s quite unusual that they showed Xenoblade 3 when it’s not coming out until September.)
I know the Warriors games are usually non-canonical*, but it would be really cool if it was a prequel that showed the characters interacting with other houses more.
Literally, they need to go touch some grass
Hanenbow lives on as a Smash stage!
Tpain has a fucking amazing voice!
Accessibility is always tough in PvP. I agree that a simple solution is to keep it offline, but you can also let people opt in to playing against folks with accessibility settings on. Let people decide for themselves.
I love the Souls games and agree that part of their identity and appeal is the difficulty, and it’s the core of the experience... But I think it’s important that more people have access to *some* version of that experience.
Yeah, Celeste lets you slow the game down by X%, turn on 1-3 extra jumps, even make you totall invincible if you choose... But those are all optional, and because the options are fairly granular, you don’t have to make it easy—just easy enough. A relevant quote is, “A wheelchair ramp doesn’t ruin stairs, braille…
I think Ethan meant that From lags behind in offering accessibility options in general, not just difficulty levels. The issue is that most games aren’t very accessible in the first place, and difficult games are even worse. Difficulty options can make a game more *accessible* to people with a variety of disabilities.
Yep. Agree 100%.
The latter.
This article just reminds me how Sony utterly squandered its purchase of Gaikai. They could have been so ahead of the curve on streaming, but let PS Now languish and focused their efforts on hardware superiority.
Utterly predictable, utterly disgusting.
Eh, boosters like this are pretty normal for F2P games.
The Forces of Nature are exclusively male, though
There was something really magical about instantly switching from TV to Handheld mode at the press of a button. Not even the Switch captures that feeling because you didn’t have to get up from the couch or anything! There were tons of downsides too, obviously, but I definitely miss that feature.
Yeah, it’s weird to me that Samurott’s form looks SO similar. Like you said, it feels like a palette swap. I imagine Typhlosion will look pretty different with flames, and Decidueye is very different already... Feels like a missed opportunity.
Calling it right now: the new force of nature is female, because of course the only female force of nature is going to be pink with heart shaped eyebrows 😑
