This is theoretically the kind of game I live for—PvEvP, multiple characters with different playstyles, weird early nought-ies aesthetic... But it kinda sounds frustrating. Meanwhile, if I leave a game running when I put my PS5 into rest mode, there’s a 50% chance the game will crash within minutes of turning back on.

Not always. But if the PS5 version is the only one with issues, it might be because the PS5 is harder to work with.

The PS5 doesn't seem to be as friendly to developers as the Series X. Not just based on this, there have been a number of incidents where developers have mentioned problems exclusive to the PS5, or talked about how easy it was to implement something on the Series X while conspicuously omitting any mention of the PS5.

Game is more fun *for you,* perhaps. Other people liked it better before, and there’s no reason to rain on their parade.

Apple’s attempt here was pretty poor. Based on the judge’s previous comments, she was probably irritated that the lawyer kept returning to what was essentially the same question.

I’ve literally set up my email so all of my receipts are immediately marked as read, and the notifications are immediately dismissed on my phone. It's annoying as all hell.

Totally agree, 4k 120hz is too ambitious for the Series X or PS5, but 1440p120 is way more doable. It would honestly help Sony show off the PS5 so much!

I mean, the other thing is that FPS boost on Xbox lets 30fps games run at 60fps. Which can make a huge difference! So even when you ignore the 120hz situation, Sony isn’t doing a great job.

Yeah, I get that most people don’t have the hardware to take advantage of >60fps... But the same holds for Xbox users, and Microsoft still put in the legwork to make it happen.
