Yes, your anecdotal evidence of the relatively small number of people you’ve spoken to surely outvalues the thousands of people who’ve reported the game being a terrible technical experience!

It’s a little bit of both. Yes, he got the goldfish in the end—but note that the tantrum ended before he got the goldfish. He had stopped crying, he had more control over his body, and he was using his words. Perhaps the tantrum would have restarted if he didn’t get the goldfish, but he was able to calm himself down…
When I glanced at the image I thought it was an update on biomutant

I kind of like banning simp in certain contexts. It’s not as bad as it used to be, but a lot of people still use it to criticize people who compliment female women (as in, there’s no way you would compliment that woman unless you’re trying to have sex with her), which is really sexist.

Oh, certainly—I just meant the worst part of CDP’s choices.
The worst part isn’t them refusing to sell it. It’s that first they said they would, and then they backtracked!
It wasn’t actually a snow theme, but my favorite snow theme is Perpetual Motion from Unlimited Saga:
I imagined the game bugging out completely as it tries to load Keanu's model, only for Ashton Kutcher's face to appear as he yells "you've been punnnnnnnnnkd!"
Or that Sony isn't willing to play ball and CDPR is trying to figure out if they want to pay for refunds themselves or something else.
I really don’t think so. There would have been a backlash, yes, but no worse than what we’re seeing now. Especially if they only delayed the console versions. (And their stock probably wouldn't have tanked as much, either.)
It looks like a game that was over-scoped in the first place, and then experienced lots of feature creep and design shuffling over the course of development, before experiencing a sudden downshift late in the game. You're right that more time in the oven probably wouldn't have helped (besides the technical stuff).…
It’s a very 2020 game in many ways lol
If anyone’s read Death’s End, this is like when the universe was ending because too many people were stealing matter to create pocket universes... Except there are just too many dildos

Many games have voice chat built into the game rather than through the Switch Online app (Overwatch, Paladins, Fortnite). Just plug a headset into the headphone jack and you’re good.
I mean... Aren’t people using a headset on most platforms? Granted, we don’t know if it has voice chat built in, but many Switch games do nowadays.
