I don’t even watch Doctor Who, but I enjoy hearing people spam this voiceline haha

Yeah I know Twitter compresses pretty aggressively, but the clip Fahey posted looks totally busted lol. Like, I share to Twitter from my PS4 quite often and I’ve never seen anything like this.
I actually really like the PS4 beep, so I’m glad it’s sticking around!
After doing a search, I found a few VR specific reviews, and they all compare to the regular and pro PS4:
So far it looks like VR games are only performing marginally better, apart from Blood and Truth which has some PS5 specific enhancements
Though I must say, I love having such an oversized button lol. I can tap it with an index finger if my thumbs are otherwise occupied, which is generally the case in fast paced games—I honestly can't imagine playing Overwatch on the Xbox controller because I'd need to press a small button to check the scoreboard
Oh, I love the share button. Makes it so easy to save clips and screenshots, even if it’s just so I can look at them myself later. But yeah on the few occasions where I *do* share clips with friends, it's really handy too.
Stephen, does Syndicate not work at all, or do you just get some kind of warning?
More moving parts always means more points of failure, yeah. But Sony used a rather elegant design that doesn’t introduce as many points of failure as you might think (around 9:30 in the video):
Yeah, that sounds really frustrating. Especially when there’s a new feature as big as stasis—there was no way they didn’t realize it would have an outsized effect in PvP! They shouldn’t introduce something like this when it’s going to create such a bad situation.
I feel like that phenomenon started in the latter half of that generation, though. But maybe I’m wrong?
Would you say the combat is closer to Bayonetta/DMC, or God of War?
Oh wow, hard disagree re: the Switch and backwards compatibility. I’m really disappointed at how Virtual Console turned into the NES and SNES collections, and it kinda sucks how I have to pay full price for the Deluxe versions of Wii U games I bought when they first came out.
I think it can, as long as the developer implements it right.
How’re the haptics, Ari? One review said the “thwips” were really satisfying, but another said it was only marginally better than regular rumble. And a while back the studio said something about using haptics for Spider Sense, did that make it through?
Aww, does the game not have an option to hide helmets so you can see your chompers? ☹
Coming from Overwatch, this was a fairly predictable outcome lol. Nothing steams the OW player base more than crowd control (stuns, freeze, slow, etc)! But at least in OW stuns are restricted to specific characters with their own weaknesses.
I never played DeS, but the idea of World Tendency always intimidated me a little; very glad they let you see precisely what it is from the menu!
