Can you imagine how fucking demoralizing this must be for employees? You’ve been working 100 hour weeks, and you thought you’d be done by this particular date, only to find out that you need to deal with an entire MONTH more?

Yeah, for people who already have a lot of discs, the disc console is the way to go. I buy my games almost exclusively digitally already, so I’m happy I get to save the extra hundo whenever I decide to get a PS5.
They released a list of the games that won’t work on PS5:
They said that all of the games will have faster loading times and better performance with the PS5's “Game Boost” feature.
Hopefully they’ll add a slider so you can adjust how many enemies appear on screen.
I think it’s kind of like Final Fantasy X-2 vs Final Fantasy 11. Bravely Second was a direct sequel, Bravely Default 2 is the next mainline Bravely entry.
I continue to wonder wtf Paris is doing
I’m hoping that they do something to make it easy for developers to implement, maybe a system that allows devs to convert various sound inputs into a base for their haptics. Because yeah otherwise no one is going to use it.
Yeah, but I think that was just for movement? I was talking about camera control
One wonders why Amazon didn’t take Facebook’s approach and negotiate broad rights agreements for their streamers. Soundtrack isn’t quite the same as FB Gaming’s music deal.
like many things on Twitch, it really doesn’t mean much. It’s kind of exciting when it happens to you because it happens so infrequently and totally randomly, but that’s it.
I’m not sure if it’s fair to hold 20 year olds joining a barely decade-old medium to the same standard as billion dollar corporations in established industries
Yeah, SM64DS was a fantastic remake. Tons of extra features and visual polish (and multiplayer that was... fine). Though the camera control was basically the same, you just had arrow buttons on the touch screen that adjusted the camera like the C buttons IIRC.
I really enjoyed CrossCode in spite of the bad performance on Switch. The story was pretty overhyped, but I enjoyed the combat a lot and the puzzles were fantastic. When the next set of content comes to switch I'll definitely open it up again.
I don't think I can have a discussion about this with someone who’s response to mass violence and erasure is “that's how things have always been, people are just whiny now 🤷"
You’re right, the US didn’t colonize them, but we did coerce them to open their borders by a show of force, performed the most destructive act of war in history *twice*, forced a total restructuring of their government, made them almost entirely dependent on foreign military aid, and then maintained a major military…
Oh yeah, I hit the epilogue already! Now that the story has wound down I’m not quite as motivated to keep playing, but I’m still hanging around because Persephone and Hades are still getting development.
I literally have over 80 hours in this game. It would be a little upsetting if it wasn’t so fun.
I don’t think “please be thoughtful and respectful when you use something that you aren’t familiar with and doesn’t belong to you” is too big of an ask. That’s literally kindergarten level kindness lol
I feel like you didn’t read my comment, because you used a Western European example when I specifically addressed that point? And you’re also equating the horrors of colonization with “becoming part of a culture,” which is... no.
