I’m here exclusively to express my delight that this isn’t a slideshow
this is an EXCELLENT headline
A formatting comment not about slideshows:
who tf is telling you to wear masks at home unless you’re actually sick with other people around
um
I think I’ve made the same comment on an earlier article, but I’m surprised that so few games have even attempted to clone BotW. I imagine it’s partially because it must take tons of resources to create a world so large and rich with discovery, but you’d think at least a few devs would have tried.
Yeah, this is one of the reasons I love Hades. Even though you need to unlock new abilities and weapons over the course of the game, you still get to feel like a badass from the very beginning. (Obviously it’s far from a direct comparison with Avengers, though)
fuck this, give us thracia 776 so the whole world can feel the pain
Andrew this is unacceptable
It’s basically the same as music: developers can cut off streamers whenever they want to.
Wow. This... seems like a great way to push streamers towards Facebook Gaming, given how they’ve apparently licensed wide swaths of songs so streamers don’t even have to worry about this kind of stuff.
While we’re discussing FF composers who live up to (or exceed...) Uematsu, I’mma drop some Masashi Hamauzu:
I played for about 10 minutes, and I enjoyed it more than Mario 35!
THANK YOU, old Peter was SO much hotter.
God, Picross is so good. I got the first one on the DS when I was 17 and it took over my life. I was a teacher’s assistant and I definitely spent more time playing picross than grading lol.
I get what they were going for; if you regularly play with different groups of people, it’s nice to be able to quickly recreate those groups and go back and forth between chat and party. But this is the worst way to do that lol
Did any games actually use the PS2 analog buttons other than MGS3? I never played a game that used them, but I have no idea how you were supposed to apply different levels of pressure when they were so shallow
The triggers were awesome! They felt so good in Eternal Darkness and Double Dash and Sunshine. Probably could have used a bit more resistance, but I loved their depth and the "click" when you pressed them all the way down.
I loved that button layout. It just felt nice having the big central button, and I never encountered a game that suffered for it. (It was also a lot easier for people who didn't play video games! My baby brother figured out the gamecube controller because he gravitated to the big green button.)
