You should suggest God Mode to your friend! It's a really nice way to get through the story if it's too difficult, but it doesn't feel too easy or anything like that; I still feel a great sense of accomplishment if I complete a run with it. And you can toggle it whenever you want (so sometimes I only turn it on when

Mildly pendantic correction: Getting the characters to talk about the hidden aspect isn’t random. You just need to keep talking to them until

Tldr: Placing value judgments on someone’s personal preference *is* being an asshole. And then when you express those value judgments with a sentence like, “These excuses are so weak it is entertaining to me,” you’re being a *big* asshole.

I kind of want to try Destiny again, but when they did the big changeover to F2P, they wiped all of your story progress if you hadn’t beaten the first campaign... And guess who got half way through the first campaign.

I think the header picture has all the sponsor logos and stuff blurred out. Not sure why their faces look so out of place though lol

Well, that’s my thing—why are you scrutinizing someone’s preferences? Why does it matter to you whether someone’s reason is legitimate or not? She’s not passing any kind of value judgment, she’s just saying that there are a few reasons she hasn’t gotten into the games mentioned.

I still don’t see how they’re “weak” reasons. Is it somehow more honorable to dislike a game for, I dunno, poorly designed characters or bad textures or something? Is there a scale for this type of thing? Am I a worse person if I only have weak opinions? ☹

...What? How can a reason for disliking something be “weak”? Do you insist on only holding “strong” opinions? Who determines the strength of an opinion, and is there a committee I can appeal to if I disagree with the ruling?

oh my god, this would have helped sooooo much when I tried to get good at Pokken. I’m great at rhythm games but it’s always hard for me to get the timing in fighting games.

It’s kinda weird to say two heroes are coming soon when they’re both Hawkeye lol.

I agree with you generally, but Avengers had the rare benefit of a great single player campaign. For people into 3D beatemups, the story mode alone is a decent use of $60.

Gotta disagree with the sentiment that NA has more talented teams than APAC. For most of the season, NYXL, Guangzhou and Hangzhou looked better than every NA team besides Philly and SF. (I almost added Paris and Florida as top-tier NA teams, but neither were very meta-resilient so I decided against it.) Even London

Techbros always remind me of white feminism: people who champion ideas/values without thinking of other demographics whatsoever. Techbros thinking “free speech is imperative!!!!,” except their brand of free speech benefits white men way more than anyone else—and often actively harms women and POC.

Depicting things realistically isn’t a problem. Fetishization is a problem. There are a few things that make the use of Asian cultures in (many) cyberpunk stories closer to fetishization:

Pikmin 3 was so good, and I’m glad people are getting to play it again... I can’t really justify the $60, though. ☹

Nvidia has some seriously great AI upscaling/rendering/etc. The stuff they use on the Shield TV is also amazing, the only 4k upscaling I’ve seen that actually makes stuff look better.

If you’re married to your blurays, it might be worth ripping them (or downloading a copy if you don’t have a BD drive on your computer) and setting up a Plex server or something. That simplified my life sooooooo much, and it’s really easy if you’re only watching at home.

Yeah, I felt that way for a while (choosing physical because I liked having the copy on my shelf), but then I realized the sheer convenience of never having to swap discs... And I’ve basically been all digital since. I only buy physical games if there’s a significant discount on the disc shortly after release.

The more times I read the article, the more I think yall need to edit or remove the first section; it’s definitely misinformation.
