I know this is categorized as tips, but it felt more like an opinion/recommendation piece, which we haven't seen much of from Ari. Hoping to see more of this side of you!

SO MANY PARTICLES

So, it’s not so much a “4 year ban” as it is, “the kid remains ineligible to play until the appropriate age?”

Second Sight?! The memories...

That’s so odd. Kinda reminds me of espers in FFXII, where you could only trigger their special attacks in really arcane circumstances.

I enjoyed it tons, but I didn’t like it as much as Her Story. The main... issue, I suppose, is that the scenario is Telling Lies is way more complex—and as a result, there isn’t a single, monumental “twist” like in Her Story. That’s not a problem unto itself, but the more elaborate twist in Telling Lies doesn’t manage

It’s kind of upsetting that ZeniMax/Bethesda didn’t donate directly to anything in the DMV, considering they’re based in Maryland and the the area is one of the hardest hit in the nation.

Don’t worry, that whole comment about trans people 100% counts as hate speech, so with any luck the entire account will be expunged quickly.

I can’t believe a troglodyte like you thinks you can represent Legend of Mana.

I can’t wait for someone to come in here to relitigate Mari Kondo’s attitude towards books

It’s whatever you make of it, really. Some people really get into minmaxing, other people like decorating, other people just like doing the daily tasks/errands.

I mean, the game is “supposed to be” whatever you make of it so it’s not that weird.

The play history stuff is awesome, previously you needed to turn on parental controls if you wanted to see detailed information!

I mean, you don't have to use it if it feels unfair or less fun. It seems like pointless "hardcore-ing."

I mean, McGravy said that all players were informed on March 27th, and he's on the Valiant too.

FYI: Chat was visible intentionally, and players were notified that was the case on March 27th (via McGravy, another player on the Valiant):

It wasn’t an accident, someone on OWL production confirmed it was intentional. They didn’t go into *why* chat was visible (they weren’t on the team that made the call so they didn't want to speculate), but we know it was on purpose and players knew ahead of time.

I don’t think it was unfair. Players were notified match chat would be on the stream several days beforehand.

I mean, on a regular sports broadcast, wouldn't curses be bleeped out?
