Actually, he was pretty specific that additional PvE was slowed down by OW2, not PvP.

One day you'll have to download OW2, and you'll only have access to the PvP stuff.

I’m not sure how this is a cash grab when they are literally giving the bulk of the game to OW players for free.

Buying OW2 is just paying for PvE, basically. Overwatch will get everything from OW2 other than the visual updates, and it will presumably be a few years before OW players will get access to those with the clients merging.

Depends on how extensive the single player is. If it’s a well made, 10-12 hour campaign? I’ve paid $60 for less and been satisfied. And considering how much I love Overwatch, I don't mind another $60 to finance the game (since I don't buy loot boxes).

IIRC, Adventure Sync is *supposed* to simply integrate with Google Fit/Apple Health to get step count, not use your location in the background. But I might be wrong.
