Have you heard of Popsockets.com - I’m NOT selling them. I’ve just been using them since day one of my new plus and I’ve never looked back. Then I’ve recommended them to others and they don’t know how they lived without them. Great little sticky thing - incredible user experience. (I’m honestly not selling them - I do

Handoff does not work in Hotel wifi. Just discovered. Maybe someone can explain why. And it's not a biggie for me but I just found out this. X

by your logic, give the kid a laptop, then let them surf any site they want. give them an xbox and let them play on it 24hrs a day. no restrictions right?

the way i see it - a parent has the right to place conditions on their childrens gifts. even if it wasn't them that gave it. by your logic the child should be allowed to play on their xbox any time and all the time they want - no restrictions right? - if that xbox is a "gift" to them. i believe this kind of thinking

I come from the Maldives and I know of an island called Vaadhoo (Male atoll) where this phenomenon occurred. Ironically I would visit the island when I was a child but never ventured out to the beach at night. I would LOVE to visit wherever this island is where this happens so if anyone knows the name of this island

"The last human sat alone in his apartment. There was a knock at the door". :-)

I would use Safari in a heartbeat if not for the most annoying thing is still does - even in Mavericks: When you go back a page it refreshes that page. It is SO VERY frustrating. Why can Chrome simply stay on the page you left and Safari not do that?

"Just one inch larger.." JUST ONE INCH??

Is no one going to make a rude joke about "this milky circle"? Trust the greeks to come up with that one... (the ancient greeks i mean - no disrespect to current living ones intended).

This is my humble opinion: I think Apple didn't WANT to make too many drastic changes to iOS 7. I think with the interface, they tried to maintain a good balance between current users (exciting enough for them) and new users (the moms and pops peeps). I think Apple has done this quite well.

And also, you guys - and most tech blogs - talked about an app a while back that "magically" created the coolest 60fps video on the iphone - it was called Slo-Pro. With iOS 6 Apple removed the ability to do that. BUT guess what? When Cook was talking about the new features for the SDK - 60fps had returned in iOS7

THE CLOCK!! Look at the clock!! It is dynamic! It changes... it shows the current time now instead of the generic 10.15! (sorry about the exclams... :-) X

I agree that it is illegal. But he's right - he believes, as I do, that he hasn't done anything wrong. He's addressing his morals. Not the legality of his actions.

Agreed - ps. Have to mention that I love seeing "dingo8baby" in my replies list. Big FG fan here. :-)

If you're in your mid 20s I would first ask that you stop swearing at your parents. You kinda made my point on that one. Thank you. (At least one of us remembers their manners).

From all the spoilt, ungrateful, whiny, childish replies to this article - I'm actually surprised to realise that so many kids read Giz. Great article.

On Apple's "compare phone models" page they do say the 4S will also be able to have the Panorama function. I also read that on another site (can't remember which) - but it's a good bet that the 4S will be able to do it if Apple's own site says so (unless its another original iPad fiasco with the multi-gestures

It would have been quite cool if they have done this in the shape of Batman. (sorry, just watched all 3 movies back to back).

Can someone point out to me where in this article does it show apple comparison with the featured item? from all the fired up comments like "well, how dare you! apple does it too!!" - i thought maybe i missed a paragraph entirely where the writer tells people to go to apple cos they'd never do something like that.

on [icloud.com] before you sign in - it works the same way - but depending on where the pointer is. :-) - i mean before you sign in - the reflection on the big icloud logo swivels with the mouse pointer. very cool.
