Its really the exact opposite.  Instead of the expensive high-test, I use mid-grade to save a few bucks.

Also fun(?) fact that green lasers are less likely to reflect glare because they are right in the center of the spectrum.  So its likely the plane landed safely.  Pretty sure, anyways.
