The car belongs to a family memeber in FL, the poster drove to CA and had it smogged so he can register it or sell it, painted it so it wont be recognized for something and now ‘just wants it gone.’ Probably he disconnected a wire or two and nothing else is wrong. Yes, this. If one has overall ‘global’ sustainability and CO2 as the highest priority, of course keeping your ICE car longer helps overall. BUT if your goal is personal savings, then an EV or plug-in hybrid is cheaper for the short term.

I have PLEX a well, but use it much more for streaming my own music.  I can watch a movie only so many times, but good music never gets old.

Wellllll.... there seems to be plenty of money available for modifying said cars so the cost of the event ‘venue’ should be factored into this hobby.  If these 80+ cars all put in $50 for the night, I think that would cover it.

i’ll agree here.  Private schools can make the rule.  This lady might need an OF account to pay for that school though.  Perhaps she also needs a tan minivan for school drop offs.
