I thought it was going to be a biopic about Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law! I was so disappointed to find out that that wasn't the case at all. :/

Huh. I honestly thought HTTYD2 was better. Honestly, I just think that with BH6 the Academy bought into the mass appeal that the tag "From the creators of Frozen…" brings with it.

I'm pretty sure most of those people were just cheering for American Sniper to win. Because, you know… 'Murica.

As much as I'd love to see Xander Crews, I think I'd like it even more if the Xtacles showed up and were revealed to be an elite CIA squad.

I'm sure she's fine. Providing the voices for two psychotic matriarchs over the past ten years would probably leave you wanting to tone it down every once in a while too.

Well, believe it or not, there are places in the South that are considered bastions of social liberalism. For example, the "Triangle" region of North Carolina (Chapel Hill-Durham-Raleigh) largely leans Democrat. In fact, I think most college towns and large cities in the South are generally progressive.

"Awful" cover?? As much as I like The Knife, that cover blew the original out of the water.

Why would anyone stop stocking Americone Dream though? If they do, the terrorists will have won.

Aw, I love Wendy. But the difference between her and Dipper in terms of both age and maturity is a bit too much. Perhaps if they were both, say, six years older… then I'd be able to get behind that ship.

Tumblr seems to have settled on "Dipifica".

"Blinded by the Lights" is still my favourite song of his, although I do have a soft spot for "Has It Come to This?" - the latter was released during the height of UK Garage, which I was fully into during high school. Hearing the deep bass and staccato beats of the latter brings back good memories of that time.

DEM DIPIFICA FEELS! I personally prefer it a lot more to Dipper/Wendy; for one thing, it's a lot less creepy. Shipping aside though, I absolutely loved how much character development Pacifica had in this episode. I really hope we get to see her more often in future episodes now.

That scream that Jimmy Jr. did at the very end of his first ad was downright Howard Dean-like. It killed his campaign!

Ah, gotcha. That makes sense.

You guys should have supported her variety show then!

Much like the other Fionnaverse episodes, this was pretty fun; LSP (as in Prince, not Princess) and his shoujo anime faces had me laughing out loud throughout the whole thing.

Farewell, Charles Dance. I'm going to miss the hell out of you. You were nothing short of fantastic on this show.

You could practically feel the anime dripping off the episode, especially in the closing musical number. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you; this episode was really fun.

There's a part in it for the peanut.
