I still think it’s a great movie, and that people these days are too PC to realize that it’s a movie and not a work of art or morality play, it’s just a work of fiction about a young boy’s wild imagination and crazy hijinks. Are you kidding? We are talking about interstellar distances. It doesn’t matter how long it takes to get there once you enter the system. It takes a teeny tiny percentage of the time compared to the trip to the star system from our solar system :/
