How about just a little situational awareness? I didn’t drive a car the wrong way down a one-way street when GPS told me to do that, even though it was foggy at the time.

Even if the former president is as rich as he says he is, if everyone he has ever been reported to abuse in any way (not just sexually) received a damage award from the courts, could he afford it?
Texas congressman Keith Self after the most recent mall shooting, criticized those people saying thoughts and prayers aren’t enough. But, those people who did criticize thoughts and prayers are correct. Thoughts and prayers aren’t enough. What we need now is bullet-proof thoughts and prayers.
It’s good that I can cram a bunch of stuff in a Miata. However, I can’t cram me in a Miata, so as much as I’d like one, it’s a hard pass.
When my wife and I were first dating, she used to pretend to like stuff like baseball games and car shows. She doesn’t pretend about those things anymore. I get to go to those by myself.
If you wish to be pedantic (and I frequently do), I think you meant unintelligible, rather than illegible.
Having just returned from my fifth skin-cancer biopsy in a year (haven’t gotten the results yet), if your kids want to go back inside, let them. Everything in moderation may be true, but too much sunshine hasn’t been good for me, and it’s probably not good for you either.
My house is paid off. I have a six-figure income. I can’t conceive of buying an average new car at $48,008.

While I wouldn’t want to live in Burlington or Rochester in the winter, I have lived in upstate NY (not Rochester) and visited Burlington on many occasions. The parts of Burlington I’ve been to were quite nice.
I wore ear plugs, not earbuds when I saw the Blue Man Group a few years ago. The show was good, but I highly recommend the plugs.
I once got a ticket outside a state unemployment office. Seems you couldn’t conduct your business inside in the amount of time you could buy at the meters near the place.
It’s nice that Southwest did right by the aisle-seat lady, but Southwest doesn’t always live up to its promise. I was on a flight once where the flight attendant said if there was anything she could do to make the flight more comfortable, just ask. I requested that she make the plane about two-feet wider, and that…
If we must have these obnoxious slide shows, could we please have them laid out so you don’t have to scroll from each picture to the text accompanying the picture?
On Air BnB, bed size is listed, but not searchable or filterable.
I once worked at a business that had a private parking lot. It was immediately adjacent to the railroad station, where parking was a bear. I arrived at work one day to find someone parked in my reserved spot. I had to run into the office, so I took a chance and parked illegally at the curb.
Not parking, but I once had an unruly taxpayer yelling at my boss that said taxpayer “paid his salary.” Boss reached into his pocket, took out a quarter, offered it to the unruly fellow and said, “Here. That ought to more than cover your share.”
some of these things, especially pergolas and gazebos, may have zoning restrictions and/or need a building permit.
I’ve been looking recently, and seen some short-term rentals that list a price, and also list that the price doesn’t include the tax. Those taxes are often quite high because customers of the sites don’t usually vote in the area where they’re renting.
