How about just a little situational awareness?  I didn’t drive a car the wrong way down a one-way street when GPS told me to do that, even though it was foggy at the time.

Even if the former president is as rich as he says he is, if everyone he has ever been reported to abuse in any way (not just sexually) received a damage award from the courts, could he afford it?

Texas congressman Keith Self after the most recent mall shooting, criticized those people saying thoughts and prayers aren’t enough.  But, those people who did criticize thoughts and prayers are correct.  Thoughts and prayers aren’t enough.  What we need now is bullet-proof thoughts and prayers.

I once worked at a business that had a private parking lot. It was immediately adjacent to the railroad station, where parking was a bear. I arrived at work one day to find someone parked in my reserved spot. I had to run into the office, so I took a chance and parked illegally at the curb.

Not  parking, but I once had an unruly taxpayer yelling at my boss that said taxpayer “paid his salary.”  Boss reached into  his pocket, took out a quarter, offered it to the unruly fellow and said, “Here.  That ought to more than cover your share.”

I’ve been looking recently, and seen some short-term rentals that list a price, and also list that the price doesn’t include the tax. Those taxes are often quite high because customers of the sites don’t usually vote in the area where they’re renting.
