Not so much no dice as don’t want it at any price.  A supercharger on a vehicle with this much mileage that hasn’t been well cared for, very iffy to me.

If protection orders worked, everyone would get a protection order against everyone else at birth, and we’d have world  peace.  If I’m not afraid of being punished for killing someone, why would I be afraid of being cited for contempt when I violate a protection order?

So most countries, in fact, the overwhelming majority of countries.

All things to all people?  Please explain how they’re trying to be affordable, or reliable.

Once had the oil changed in my Chrysler T&C every Thursday for three weeks. I was supposed to change it every 3,000 miles, wasn’t I? I was a little disappointed that none of the oil-change places noticed. Moved my son coast-to-coast in three days, stayed for a while and drove home alone, also in three days. No

I’m no expert, but I do know something about security. You’re right, some of it is theater. I assume that there’s some neither of us know about that isn’t.

According to TSA, they’re considered sports equipment and must be checked. According to an outdoor site I consulted, TSA is concerned that something might be concealed in the hollow tubes. I thought the metal tips potential use as spears would be a concern, but apparently not.

I’d prefer to rely only on carry-on luggage, but I can’t bring a suitcase of carry-on size. I have a bad back. Hiking poles allow me to walk much farther than I can manage to do without them. I mean I can walk farther without them, but the pain is intense. My hiking poles won’t fit in a carry-on suitcase, and the TSA

I saw Richard and Chuck Berry on the same bill not long before Richard stopped touring. Berry, as he often did, tossed off the show. He claimed, for instance, that he didn’t remember the lyrics to “Promised Land. Richard needed help to get up on top of the piano, but he still did it, and he tore the house down! You

The Saratoga Auto Museum, in Saratoga NY, is interesting. It’s collection isn’t huge, but one thing that makes it stand out to me is all the cars on display that were manufactured in NY.

Condition of the driver at the time of the crash?  Since the driver crashed into the second floor of the house, it’s pretty obvious he or she was high, isn’t it?

Something like 20 years ago, I got off I-80 at the exit that leads to the Bonneville salt flats. It wasn’t speed week and I don’t know if you’d get in trouble for driving out on the salt, but I was surprised that there was nothing there, not even a gift shop, a snack bar, or a little racing museum. The only thing

I can only imagine what comfort is involve in flying by yourself. About five years ago, my wife and I flew from London to New York on a 747 which was about half full. Even that was wonderful. We had a bulkhead row to ourselves. Leg room and elbow room, both! Who could ask for more?

Filed mine way early--yesterday.

Shop around for interest rates paid on your funds. Bankrate.com is one place to look. When comparing rates, I discovered that the bank I had been using apparently doesn’t want deposits. How did I come to that conclusion? The bank I was using paid so little on one-year CD’s it was hard to notice.

I’ll be resisting.  I didn’t even renew Sirius XM when the free subscription ran out.

If they ever want to eliminate everyone from the LA subway system, may I suggest “Angel Baby” by Rosie and the Originals?

A 79 Monte Carlo is the car that convinced me to never buy another GM car as long as I live.  Fool me twice. . . .

There are also the drivers (not all of course, but too many unfortunately) who are just jerks and have no respect for emergency vehicles or the people those emergency vehicles are trying to reach in time to do some good. I was driving a cop car once, a long time before cars were as quiet as they are now. Came up
