I can sympathize to a certain extent, but certainly not to the degree claimed. I got my fingers caught in the trunk lid of Buick some years ago, because I thought I had only partly closed it. When I reached to open it up again, it clamped down. It hurt, but fortunately I was able to get my fingers out.

Not, “a written agreement,” a legally-binding contract! And lawyers—one for each of you, not one for both.

I would serve on a jury if called, and always respond to the subpoena. I’m also always excused. Last time I was called, I went to the court a week in advance, told them I had a medical test to determine if I had cancer on that day at that time, but could come later in the day. They said forget it. So, I forgot it.

If they’re going for diversity, they should surely bring back the tan ones, and have some polka-dot ones for we freckle-faced Irish and Irish-American customers as well. Perhaps if it’s not too controversial, also a few white ones?

Back when cash for clunkers came along, I had two cars. One was good. The other was a clunker. The problem I had was the good car qualified for the program, but the clunker didn’t.

Jackass! Dangerous jackass! A firearm is a tool. Tools should not be allowed to own or use one.

Thank you, Stu. I know where Baiting Hollow is. The source of my confusion (this time) is the article said the car is in West Babylon, and the dealer’s website mentions its website is in Baiting Hollow, which is about 45 miles north and east of West Babylon.

If they don’t pay you to take the Zimmer off their hands, it isn’t a deal.

Speed traps are definitely a thing.

Auf Englisch bitte.

Does Olive Garden still cook its pasta in water without salt added?

It’s not four tests per person.  It’s four tests per household, regardless of how many people live in the household.  I didn’t try other names and email addresses, but the website says you can’t send in multiple orders from the same address.  It’s better than nothing, but either Trump or Biden could have done it a lot

Fun to own? Absolutely.  Fun to drive?  Not so much.

The more light the better. Back when it was just a late-model used car, a friend of mine replaced the high beams on his ‘63 fuely Vette with aircraft landing lights. Each was controlled by a separate switch. They drew so much current that driving slowly when you used them would kill the battery in pretty short order.

Is there any research you can cite about how long the average car or truck remains at a gas pump? The way current highway rest stops in the US are configured, most people who want to eat park at the restaurant (Mickey D or otherwise), get their food, then move their car to pump gas. Even local stations where I live

Might interfere? How long has 5G been around? Shouldn’t we be sure? Shouldn’t we have been sure for a long time now?

I am absolutely following your advice.  However, if I’m honest, I really didn’t need you to tell me this.

In theory, those parking lot toll machines are a good idea. I mean I dump all my change into a jar on my dresser. When it’s full, I take it to Coinstar, not to a parking meter.

Where they should have at least considered taking that tank apart and moving it pieces, instead of all at once.

Automotive engineers who design cars with frequently serviced parts that are hard or impossible to service should be sentenced to spend their time in hell working on cars like the ones they designed that way.
