Thankfully, my public library's inter-library loan network is huge. I have been able to pretty much get anything, new or old, that I've been meaning to see. I can search, manage lists, and make requests through the website. Takes a couple days for loan media to arrive, but it is pretty awesome for not costing anything.

I'm not complaining. In the last year or so Short's, Upper Hand, and Blackrocks have made their way across the border into WIsconsin. It's nice being able to drink my home state faves, even though I don't live there anymore.

Death. Mrs. Scoots Grandfather passed away last week. He was an awesome guy and will be missed dearly.

Picked up some M-43 from Old Nation Brewing (Williamston, MI) while I was back in the U.P. over the weekend. Stellar New England Style IPA. Easily the best of the style I've had from the Upper Midwest, thus far. Also grabbed a bottle of of Short's (Bellaire, MI) 13th Anniversary Ale. Its a dry hopped sour secondary

Witch's Hat Brewing (South Lyon, MI) does an excellent Coffee Kölsch called Thrash Punk. Highly recommended if you are in the area, as it is brewery only. I miss living in Michigan. There is so much great beer in that state.

When Frost showed up in this season of Into The Badlands it completely took me out of the story.

I prefer the term "fancy sauce".

Jolly Pumpkin's La Roja is the beer that got me aboard the Sour Train. I tried it when they brought to the First Fall Beer Fest, in Marquette, MI, while I was in college. I was blown away and it is still one of my favorites.

My hand finally is healing up, after a dog bite a few weeks back, so I'm gonna dive back into Fallout 4's Far Harbor. Really looking forward to it.

If you mix up a solution of dish soap and water, in a spray bottle, it will take them out quick. I must have killed thousands of them last fall. They were all hanging out on the south facing exterior wall of our garage.

Minneapolis is a great beer city. I live about 1.5 hours NE of the Twin Cities, in NW WI. I always look forward to checking out different local breweries every time I make it down that way.

♫She has the best tv show, better than Beverly Hills 90210♫

I liked the first one, but quit about half way through the second one. I finally realized I'm just not that big a fan of King's writing style. Although, I do like a few of his books.

Great Idea! I'm gonna do that too.

Yikes! that had to be really scary for the both of you. Poor guy was probably terrified. Glad you guys both wound up o.k.

Yeah I'm fine, big tear on my left thumb, a couple of punctures on my index finger, and an incredibly beautiful purple thumbnail. Healing up really fast though.

Grilled New York Strips from the local butcher (Shout-out to Louie's Finer Meats in Cumberland, WI) with baked potatoes and ceasar salad, over the weekend, turned out great.

In my State, any emergency room visit for a dog bite automatically becomes a police matter. Department of Health Services then puts the dog in quarantine for 10 days, with regular visits to make sure the animal isn't getting sick. It was released from quarantine yesterday.

I can't really fault the dog, but it should have never been brought to a dog park. That is just irresponsible ownership.

He's fine for now. Post surgery is gonna be bad for him though. I guess the tooth with the exposed root is incredibly difficult to extract.
