Tie: Ewok Village Playset and Super NES.

Ahhh…Good old Bill Sienkiewicz. Some of the finest art ever to grace the pages of a Marvel comic. That guy is the best. Loved his work on New Mutants, way back when.

Excellent choice.

Moon! I've been looking forward to that popping up on a streaming service again.

I'm not a huge South Park fan either, but the style and gameplay mechanics sold me on it. There are actually some pretty good laughs in it too. SoT was a free PS4 digital download with a pre-order of the sequel. Two for the price of one was too good to pass up. Really happy with my purchase

Serious Eats is where i got the sweet potato recipe I mentioned below. If you don't own his book, The Food Lab, pick it up. It is worth every penny.

Maple-Miso Butter Roasted Sweet Potatoes are pretty much the best thing ever.

I was thinking of getting my bro-in-law a nice cutting board for x-mas. They had some really nice thick butcher block style ones at a craft show I went to with my mom a few weeks back when she came out to visit.

That game is gonna be great gift!

South Park: The Stick of Truth is great! It's the most Paper Mario-y RPG I've played in a long time. Can't wait for the sequel to come out. Especially since the battles are going to have a tactical combat vibe. It's probably the closest I'll get to a Final Fantasy Tactics sequel these days. Sigh.

Good point. I hope my niece isn't a commenter here.

Coolest x-mas gift you bought for friend or family so far this year thread
We got a birding book, binoculars, and a bird feeder building kit for 7-year old niece. she is gonna love it. Felt dinosaur set for her 4 year old brother.

Mac And Me Too: Mac in Black!

This pretty much my order too, except I would swap miso-maple butter roasted sweet potatoes, for creamed spinach. Ahhh… the gluttony.

It's gonna be the MST3K Turkey day marathon and South Park: The Stick of Truth for me. I've got a fridge full of beer waiting for me when I get out of the office today. Highlights include: Short's Sticky Icky Icky IPA, Funkwerks Saison, Jester King's Figlet, and Surly Darkness.

That is a good one. I'm super-glad Almanac started to distribute here in Wisconsin.

I was blown away by Orpheus Brewing's (Atlanta,GA) Lyric Ale (Saison) and Atalanta (Saison /w plums). Just amazing flavors and it comes in a can. Great beer for paddling.

That fight was really hard. I inflicted damaging status (Fire, gross, electricity, bleeding) on the secret service while using Jimmy to put them to sleep, repeatedly. Once you get them out of the way, Gore isn't so tough.

When I think farmhouse ale, I really don't think Spotted Cow. It doesn't have any of the peppery notes consistent with the farmhouse/saison style. I kind of think farmhouse is a bit of a misnomer for that beer. I would consider it a cream ale, especially with corn on the bill, but I guess the brewers prefer it to

I’m gonna pre-order South Park: Fractured But Whole from the Playstation Store, mainly because it comes with a free download of South Park: The Stick of Truth. I wanted to play it SOT when I had a PS3 and thought I missed my chance when I upgraded to a PS4. but lo and behold, now I can. Anyone here play through it?
