I had the same reaction upon first listen, but eventually I realized that the songs off it were stinking up perfectly good shuffles, so I ditched the album from my phone, and replaced it with The Ugly Organ re-issue.

I can't stop listening to the new Battles album, La Di Da Di. I saw them live a few weeks ago and wasn't quite sure of my feelings on the new stuff. The band did mention that they were still learning to play the new stuff live, and after a few front to back listens to the album, at home, I was totally sold on it.
