The new Battles album, La Di Da Di, is pretty great. Saw them play live over the weekend and that was pretty sweet too. John Stanier plays his kit really hard. Fun to watch.

UPToberfest this weekend in Escanaba, so tasty Michigan beers here I come! <sarcasm>It will be nice not having to choke down all of this Wisconsin swill I've been forced to drink, since moving to ScottWalkerstan. </sarcasm>

I love that beer!

Went to see Battles at First Ave. in Minneapolis last weekend, it was a pretty good show. Tomorrow we are off visit both of our families in beautiful Escanaba, MI., for the weekend. I will be attending the 10th Annnual UPtoberfest on Saturday and will be drinking many delicious Michigan beers with my wife and

I just made an enormous batch of Chimichurri with all of the leftover parsley from cleaning out the garden. Freezing it in ice cubes trays was my plan as well.

Lost Kitten is a great song. One of my favorites off of Synthetica.

I love that cover art. Doggies Rule!

The musical score in this film is the clincher for me. All of it was written and performed by Damon Albarn and Michael Nyman. It is incredibly unsettling and fits the vibe of the movie so well.

I think you have to say his name 7 times before he shows up.

I recently acquired my first Heady Topper as well, but I was let down by it. It paled (bad pun) in comparison to a Julius by Tree House I had received in the same trade. That one was a ridiculously great beer.

+1 for an awesome Minutemen song.

That is one hell of a shuffle. +1

Picked up my PSP for the first time in ages, and the save for my Final Fantasy Tactics game, that I have been playing on and off for the last 10 years or so was corrupted. I started over and began grinding for job point again. Best video game ever. Why won't they Squenix make a true sequel to it, instead of the

Woosh! Good thing you aren't any taller. That joke would have hit you in the face.

It blows my mind that Artie, The Worlds Strongest Man, from The Adventures Pete & Pete and Boz from Halt and Catch Fire are the same person. Also, bring back Sk8 TV. Don't update it or anything, just start re-airing old episodes.

Tried a Julius (IPA from Tree House Brewing) over the weekend and it was easily one of the best IPA's I've ever had.

I really like "This Place is a Prison"

Mine is a picture of my dog, Scout. The picture is from about 5 years ago, so he is a lot more grizzled and grey now. We got him from the shelter, while I was in college in Marquette, MI. He was incredibly skittish, malnourished, and most likely a victim of abuse, judging by how bad of shape he was when he found us.
