Hey, y’know what? I’m fat and ugly and I got chased out of my home and job by an internet stalker who fell in love with my voice and the way I write and ended up threatening to show up and kill me (after sending packages to my home address and managing to trace me down the land line I had when I was hiding at my

So what you’re saying is that men are beasts with no morals or conscience who operate entirely based on their base desires and instincts and are completely incapable of controlling themselves in the presence of a piece of “meat”, ie. a woman?

Wait, are you saying she deserves to be harassed because of her choice of font?

Wow, that has to be the worst excuse for victim blaming I have ever seen. I don’t even go to porn sites, but now as I woman, I have to account for every font they use?

What the fuck, man.

“Blah blah blah, I’m gonna mansplain why I continue to victim blame the victim, blah blah blah”, that’s you right now. But hey, thank you for your sage advice, would it surprise you that female streamers that don’t play up their sexuality also get stalkers? It must because they showed alot of cleavage that one time

Women everywhere thank you, RoyeEugene, for explaining things to us that we already understood by virtue of fucking existing as women every day of our lives.

“I’m gonna say I’m not gonna victim blame, but then I’m gonna proceed to victim blame.”

Jesus. While I do have reservations about how much information these people share, and do handle things differently with my own online presence, STALKING IS NEVER AN ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. Twitch streamers are not your friends, unless they ARE your friends, which you would know because you wouldn’t have to STALK THEM to

It’s sad to go through an MMO getting taken down. I didn’t play AC, but I spent years playing DAoC. I went abroad for a couple of months during the game’s declining stage, and got back on when I returned. I was heartbroken to see that all my friends and people I used to play and interact with regularly had all

Into portal space we go. Rest in peace, Asheron’s Call. 17 years. It was an incredible run.

Now playing

My farewell to Asheron’s Call and it’s Amazing Community.

“It’s stories like his that punctuate the ephemeral nature of the virtual worlds we play in. No matter how strong the bonds we form or how much time we invest, eventually the servers are going to go down. All we’ll have left is our memories and, if we’re lucky, the friends we made along the way.”

I had an online friend

:(

Same story. Ever get tempted to embellish a little when people look disappointed by that? “So, I was out for a run when a film shoot car chase scene went by, and damned if Jared Leto’s stunt double didn’t trip me up and splat! there I was!”

Same, my story was...I slipped and fell on the sidewalk.

Ow ow ow! How did that happen? (Full disclosure: I broke a foot in October and people were constantly asking if “at least is there a good story” and were universally disappointed that the answer was “no, I just fell.”)

Honestly, that’s going to take A LONG TIME to feel okay again. Spoken from experience.

After I broke two of those little bones in my mid-foot, I was never able to wear heels again. I’ve made flats my signature look now. And have one pair of kitten heels in case I want to be fancy (and know that I’ll be sitting most of the night).

I broke my big toe in about five different places in early December and it’s mostly pain-free but it doesn’t bend the same as the other big toe at all. I haven’t tried on any heels because I am a flats devotee, but I imagine I’d absolutely need a cane.
