This guy sat behind an air-conditioned desk and analyzed maps. He knows damn well when people hear "Green Beret" they think of some ultra-badass slitting throats and breaking necks in Afghanistan. That's exactly what he was counting on when he put down "former Green Beret" on his resume. Because "Imagery Analyst"

"Green Beret" is the nickname for Special Forces soldiers. Actual SF troops all have an 18-series Military Occupational Specialty code, awarded upon graduation from the Special Forces Q-Course.

Yep. A lot of guys don't realize I'm a veteran, much less former combat arms, so they'll run their mouths about being SF or some nonsense, then quickly start falling back to the usual three B.S. excuses once I start trying to pin them down on MOS's, units, deployments, etc.

As a former member of the regular Army, there is no such thing. I was never SF, but I routinely worked with them in Iraq. If he was, his MOS would still be 18-series, which is what all Special Forces (Green Berets) are. The Delta Force guys's "cover" is that they are just "regular" Green Berets.

That "patriot" appears to be dressed like a Hessian mercenary, who were employed by the British Crown to fight the Colonial Americans. The red-trimmed green jacket and green vest was the uniform of the Hesse-Kassel FeldJaeger Corps.

You would get coveralls for $40. A "real" flight suit is made out of Nomex, and would run over $100.
