I recently came across an owner who said their out of warranty car died after this recall fix was accomplished and the dealership was going to stick them with the repair bill.  What a disaster.

The ‘04 was the real deal at the time.  It was capable of running with the latest Corvettes at the track, so every year that it didn’t get faster made me sad. This comment is based on first hand experience with owning and doing track days in an ‘04 STi.

I’m with you, I really want HD to succeed as well. But I really think they’re doing this in the wrong order. The first company that drops an inexpensive electric motorcycle with range competitive with petrol bikes combined with modest performance is going to be able to print money.

That’s not it at all. I’d place a very strong bet on HD’s core being made up of wealthy baby boomers, or at least boomers that have managed to save up enough disposable income in their life to be able to afford HD’s luxury products.
