When someone passes you on the road, what do you do? Do you mutter to yourself about those dang speed demons? Do you accusatorily gesture through your windshield? Or, do you follow that other driver to their home, block their car into their driveway, and pull a gun on them?

The motivation for becoming a cop is often at odds with being a good cop.

Probably because too many judges don’t bother to think. They heard “cop” and “qualified immunity”, and that was all that mattered.

I was driving to southern Utah last year and long lonely desert highway, caught up to a car doing 60 in a 70 zone, as soon as we got to a passing zone he speeds up to 80, then after that back to 60. So finally I get past him and then he tailgates me for miles. Dude…

What you do is call 911, inform them you are being aggressively pursued, provide details of the pursuing vehicle and ask for them to direct you to the nearest police station.

I’m curious what would have happened had Rosales pulled out his gun and shot the off duty cop? I mean how would anyone in their right mind know that was a cop, especially acting the way he did?

Man, cops are the fucking worst humans. We need to up the standard for hiring to include a basic psych evaluation.

As someone who will watch a show even if the online critic types don’t like it for whatever reason if I enjoy it ... it just wasn’t that compelling. As a drama it was weak. The plot wasn’t super compelling. Frankly they should have done it as a black comedy.
