Simply changing parts does not fix the main cause of the problem. This is why modern technicians are constantly trained on how to properly diagnose and fix the problem, not replace random parts and hope you fix the problem. Knowing how to read a code reader is different than simply reading the fault code.

You already answered your own question and request. The solid light means there is a fault and it can be addressed when you get it to the dealership, and the second is the blinking light that means either, pull over immediately and call a tow truck, or get it to the dealership now.

Hbing a good drive train isn’t all that impressive when the body falls off of it while driving down the road after a short amount of time.

Why not simply add a CVT to all cars? They are working in everything they are in now, are simple to make and lighter. Trucks really don’t need more than 6 gears. I think more than 6 is a sales pitch, and nothing more.
