It depends if Rainmeter supports Linux. You would have to check the site. There are similar taskbar skins in Rainmeter to do the different categories of programs.

I think you can get toolbars in Win7. You'll have to check the Rainmeter skins for the OS specs. I can't remember all of them. But most Rainmeter skins work on Win8 and Win7.

I didn't put it on the Desktop Showcase, but I also use Flux, and it's great for working late. Twilight on Android is really good too for late-night browsing.
