Nine figures and likely near-record wages for a forward approaching his thirties? What could go wrong?

Read the plot, read the reviews, read the competing fan theories, possibly even read the fanfiction, depending on who’s writing it (esp. cracktastic Good Place crossovers, given Mr. Harper’s presence)... basically, I may develop strong opinions about this piece of media I will not experience directly.

According to People, NBC is replacing Harvey on Big Shots with comedian Melissa McCarthy.

Story wise, these movies don’t really have much going for them (well, Election Year was alright) but dammit, i’m here for the gratuitous violence and nothing else.

Martin Tyler is amazing. You take that back.

I have to say that, as a Deadspin reader and non GoT watcher, my favorite thing about this cultural phenomenon is how fucking stupid it seems and how, no matter what I’m doing, I feel like I must be spending my time better than if I were watching it.

It is a cult classic in the sense that a cult has developed surrounding it. Liking the Office is a personality for a lot of people.

Not a Lost fan?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a show before where literally all the viewers were smarter and understood the plot better than the showrunners .

Why would they accommodate someone who got up and walked away instead of calling an official over between matches to complain about the audience member? Smash always has the most extra shit.

He got up and walked away. He wasn’t entitled to a do-over. Simple as that.

The pass by Suarez on the second goal was better than the goal itself and the fact he didn’t bite anyone while doing it adds a bit of flare.

I don’t understand the idea of dunking on rich people’s houses. They don’t give a fuck what you think. Anyway, yeah those people suck shit tho

Real question: does anyone actually care about all these X-Men spin-offs? The X-Men universe seems kinda boring outside of the main X-Men team. Most of these people in these shows all have similar “psychic/energy” powers and not any of the cool mutant abilities. I guess that’s just a budget thing though
