Maybe the writers of most of those films should get a tiny bit of credit and mention if we’re talking about “his” world.

Honestly, I hated Armageddon when it came out but it’s really increased in my estimation when I’ve revisited it. The movie’s fucking insane and incredibly poorly written but goddamn is it entertaining.

Thanks for making this comment because I was about to come in here and start a scene. Also what is with the major Kevin Feige dick riding in the summary “...represent the mindless junk that existed before Kevin Feige started actually caring a bit about story.” do they not think movies had stories before marvel movies

“Any time anyone complains that today’s blockbusters are soulless, samey, hollow effects movies, force them to sit through the unholy trinity of Twister, Mission: Impossible, and Independence Day.”

And at least when she was in the conservatorship she wasnt running around flashing her bare bum,

The correct response is:

Rose McGowan tears down anyone that doesn’t stand up for her specifically.

Nowhere in my post did I say she didn’t need help. But I don’t know her and I don’t know if she’s under the care of a mental health professional.

And at least when she was in the conservatorship she wasnt running around flashing her bare bum, screaming at total strangers, and shaving her head.”

As the author of the

I mean, there are lots of people will poor impulse control who aren’t in conservatorships. Someone doesn’t have to rise to your standard of “balanced” in order to deserve basic freedom.

I really can’t think of anything that’s healthier than some catharsis after years of imprisonment. What is she supposed to do? Bottle it all up? Jesus.

I’m not trying to be an assh*le, but her name is written right there. Britney. Can you give her the dignity of spelling her damn name correctly when it’s written right there?

That’s why I think rich and/or famous people need one “regular” friend. The one that can show them how to do regular things. That friend should also be trusted enough that when they tell the rich person “that’s a stupid idea and you may want to rethink it”, the rich person listens.

Barbara Walters can go jump.

Wtf? Ed in the anime is also cringe!”

Were there cheesy or cringe-worthy moments? Sure. But the anime has that as well.

Here’s an extremely good and thoughtful thread about it:

Yeah, I really liked it for what it was and would have really liked a season 2. Was the original anime better? Sure. This was good to, in a different way. Lots of fun, nice set pieces, great casting. Toxic fandom sucks.

This is it, really. That’s the toxic part; and the negative feedback was overwhelming before the show even aired. The anime community is, while not wholly, quite stuck with an unfortunate number of people who have some awful takes on these things. It wasn’t about whether or not Bebop was good/bad/ok; it was about that

We can disagree about the quality of the show but the set and prop design was objectively OUTSTANDING wtf

That’s cruel. She’s saying that she was looking forward to it and then being on the set brought back painful memories.  Yes, she makes a lot of money but damn, she’s a human being.  Money has nothing to do with that.
