OMG! Sally is just about the right age to end up on “thirtysomething”! (Which also features admen.) Oh, good grief!

Cancer did not make Betty a Warm Earth Mother or an Ascended Master. She was still the Betty so many of us have found annoying. Caring about appearances. But knowing when to give up—and that diagnosis (then & mostly now, unfortunately) was almost not worth fighting.

It’s not just comfortable, it’s SOFA KING comfortable!

Two reflections:

I didn’t particularly like Betty, but I am still bummed that she’s going to die. Just like when the guy died in thirtysomething, or the Patricia Wettig character got cancer. I over-identify—although I do not even remember the thirtysomething characters names—nor did I like them.

I don’t have much to add, because this is great, but I will say this: I was really struck by the fact that, in facing down her death, Betty showed more of a level head, less selfishness, and more maturity than she had ever had before. It made me so sad and so proud of her, in a way. I just thought she was showing true…

You don’t really know what people cross-shop... Which was actually my point respecting the price these these are demanding in the aftermarket and therefore the accessibility (not how great a car it is), when we replaced an e90 335i in 2013 one of the things I drove which was a riot but not probably a great DD…
