While it’s not my favorite Star Wars movie, I definitely did not hate Rise of Skywalker. So thanks, James, for writing something positive. I feel like most articles I see relating to Episode IX are about all the reasons I’m wrong for not hating it.

I remember an interview with some showrunner back in those days who said that with the then-standard 24 episodes per season it was a foregone conclusion that you were going to have a few episodes that were fucking dreadful and a handful that were fantastic. Managing to keep the other 15 or so episodes on the right…

That really depends on the type of emulation you’re running and filters you apply (or don’t apply). I HDMI out to my television from my laptop and they look like sharp pixelated goodness.
