Man, this strikes me as something that definitely would have been on the cover of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction back in the day. Nice work.

See, Kyle McLaughlin always struck me as too old. The lead in the miniseries didn't bother me as much.

The problem is that the book really can't be adequately contained in a 2-2.5 hour movie. Which is why I love the Sci-Fi miniseries so much. It had room to breathe and really adapt the story.
