Really seems like they could have gotten a stand or something for it....and did they put a leash around it?
Really seems like they could have gotten a stand or something for it....and did they put a leash around it?
Do I know what type of camera the photos were taken on or her editing software? No. But that hardly seems relevant, and that certainly doesn’t make me a cunt.
That’s just it....we’re actually saying that if she hadn’t taken the pictures, than this hack would have been nothing more than a robbery. It would still be terrible, and an invasion of privacy, etc. But because they leaked her nudes (and importanly, because she doesn’t want these nudes leaked), it is now a much…
I never once blamed her being robbed. I questioned why she (or any such celebrity) would take and keep something she doesn’t want the world to see. If this happened to Kim Kardashian would I be asking what she was thinking taking and keeping nude photos?
I like talking to you, you’re fun. And not at all a douchbag.
What are you, eleven? I’m married you dolt.
Very different situation. Williams posed for a photo shoot and sold those photos to Penthouse, which then resulted in the crown being taken. William’s decisions seem pretty intentional, even if the backlash she felt was not. It’s still very debatable whether it “cost” her her career, and I certainly doubt she was…
You are missing the point. It’s not just about any random person taking nude photos. It’s about taking and keeping something around that could be potentially be used against you. Like others have joked, I don’t think Kim Kardashian would care if you “hacked and leaked” her nude photos. But if Leslie Jones feels these…
That’s exactly WHY I said while. I knew the comment would be perceived as blaming the victim, which is what I was NOT intending to do. I never said that she was at fault for this, but rather asked why she would take and keep nude photos of herself in the first place. If I wanted to blame her, I would have just said…
I don’t really agree with your logic. Nude photos themselves could never “destroy” someones life. Look at the Kardashians. Hell, look at Hulk Hogen. Did it ruin his life? The question is not if people should expect privacy, but why people take nude photos of themselves if they think they could be used to “ruin” their…
Where did I say this was here fault? I just asked the question why people take and keep nude photos of themselves. I know Jezebel is gone, but damn...find a better outlet.
Asking why people take and keep nude photos of themselves is cunty, eh? But calling someone a cunt is completely not a douchbag move.
You don’t know what “while” means, do you?
To me those are strange choices. That is why I raised the question. More importantly, I prefaced my comment with “while”:
That’s just it. I have NEVER wanted to take a nude photo of myself for any reason. More importantly, if I did, I would be 100% certain that photo wouldn’t ever see the light of day so as to ensure that no one would every be tainted by the blinding sight of me in my biker shorts.
While I’m not trying to blame the victims, if we’re talking about what’s wrong with people... why do so many celebs seem to have nude photos of themselves? And if there was a particularly good reason, wouldn’t you see to it that the photo is deleted afterwards?
I was in Seattle in 2001 for the Nisqually earthquake that registered 6.8. Relatively little damage was done because of the depth of the quake (57km). It felt like the whole city jumped onto a kiddy rollercoaster for about 30-60 seconds and just slowly bobbed up and down. Odd feeling, but not terribly frightening.
Isn’t outdoor airconditioning really just another way to say terraforming? Is that what we’re going for here?
That’s why I’m always doing things like putting Doritos in my sandwiches. You never know what you might come up with!
