When I tell people that a CME is much more likely to harm our society than climate change, I usually get blank stares and/or rolling eyes. Thanks for helping me not seem so crazy.
Interesting that all the craters are on the “north pole”. I assume this has something to do with Saturn’s gravity?
The most surprising thing in this data is that the US’ infrastructure is almost 5x greater than that of Russia.
Man, you even got me here. Please continue to only use your powers for good. This is one of my favorites:
The single best tasting thing I have ever put in my mouth was a piece of white salmon nigiri in Seattle. I love cooked salmon too, but I think the flavor of uncooked salmon can be out of this world.
Given that this Enigma machine led to the Turing machine, which was really one of the first computers, I would have suspected it to go for much higher. Consider that a working Apple 1 sold for over $900,000 at auction last year.
Maybe they should collaborate with Drake...
I’m afraid even puppies and kittens can’t cut it here...but they do help.
Can you explain this to my wife? You may need to go through it ~15 times, and most likely she will still simply wave away your silly “logic”. Far more annoying for me than the mouse is the smoke detector alarms which seem to ring out constantly that they need new batteries (only in the middle of the night, mind you).
I admit, part of my problem is my wife’s proclivity towards buying cheap dollar store batteries....
I really love the functionality of the magic mouse, but can’t stand the form factor and lack of a true middle-button. I also hated owning an Apple device that sucked AA batteries, making me feel like its the 90’s and I own a Gameboy. I was glad to hear that the new mouse would have a rechargeable battery, but they put…
Seriously, came here to post this. Why no love for a 10-key keyboard?
Always wanted to “Escape From Alcatraz”, but I think I’ll be passing on this indefinitely....
I never mentioned anything about going to a “party” when asking to borrow my parent’s car either...but that didn’t mean that wasn’t the primary intention.
This video shows another test other than the Geekbench test, which shows a smaller but still noticeable difference in the battery life. More importantly, is this something that can simply be fixed in a software update considering the smaller nanometer process should be more power efficient.
Kale is more nutritious than a lot of stuff too, but you don’t see me jumping on that bandwagon...
That gif is fantastic. Now I have to go re-watch the series.
