Fact is better than fiction...

I have to admit, the urge to pee in that thing is mighty strong...might need to set up a camera on that thing or send down a few bleach pucks.

Butt seriously, there's no need for potty humor here. Urine a lot of trouble mister. Now go sit on the stool in the corner.

I love when people use this logic. First, who in this world thinks we shouldn't "reduce our impact on the earth"? No one wants to purposely ruin the planet, or even suggest not using alternative fuels.

You would have to ingest ~1,500 pounds in 15 minutes to die from marijuana. Here's a visual representation:

The art is in making you think that these were easy to make. Masters always make their art look easy. Go ahead. Try to replicate them. You could never even come close. Mostly because you have no idea what art is.

My favorite thing about seeing images like this is imagining how incredibly vast this thing must be from one end to another...then realizing that the little lines in the background are actually complete galaxies far off in the distance that are possibly even bigger than this nebula itself.

I would have loved to see the town when the top of the island was inhabited and producing lots of Malmsey wine. I bet a bit of digging up there would produce some pretty cool surprises...

I am sure if we went back to the 1990's and showed them what 2015 would be like with people posting silly notes in thin air for the world to read on our little candy-bar phones that are more powerful than anything they had in their data-centers at the time they'd find it hard to believe

I've always loved the thought of Christian missionaries going to another planet to tell them how awesome it was that time God turned into a human and we slaughtered him. This book does a pretty excellent job of showing how that might turn out:

This guy is terrible...so the Blue Mosque survives but what happened to the rest of the skyline?

Or you could do without all the bezels in your way and go with one of these:

If I pay attention to scale, then the last spike of CO2 (the only spike that is man-made and anthropogenic) has seemingly no correlation to temperature. No to mention the steadily rising CO2 levels versus the downward trend of temperatures over the last 7,000 years.

...but...if man is capable of unwittingly warming the earth., surely we are capable of willingly cooling it.

I don't deny climate change, but I do call into question the cause, impact and potential remedies.

No one, and I mean NO ONE, thinks that Earth's climate is unchanging. We all recognize ice ages and warming periods. To say someone is a "climate change denier" is akin to calling someone a flat-earth believer.

Now playing

This event also made for a great Drunk History:

Bodies falling to the ground twitching will help police accountability immensely more than bodies falling to the ground bleeding. I just don't understand why non-lethal weapons aren't the standard rather than seemingly an afterthought...
