Yeah I guess I don’t get at all what you’re talking about. Orlove opened with “A new hero emerged today, or at least a new personal mentor to me”. Pinks1ip followed with a mocking comment about that, and then I concurred with their observation. But feel free to point out what I’m missing.

Yeah, not really sure how “personal hero” would ever factor into this scenario. Being (rightfully) pissed at the cavalier nonchalance of people grabbing their bags and holding up other people is what constitutes heroism? Of course she’s entitled to some righteous indignation. Expressing that doesn’t make her a hero.

So basically they’re taking a page out of the American auto industry playbook of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Slap a new shade of lipstick on that old pig and send it out.

Can definitely attest to the usefulness of being polite, contrite, and deferential to any officers you bump into. Not all, but many of them are perfectly reasonable people who aren’t out to drop the hammer and pull you out of the car at gunpoint.

If I want a Honda Civic I’ll buy a Honda Civic.

Hope you’ve got your sedatives ready for election night @TUOwls420... It’s gonna be glorious.

Confirming the reason he doesn’t talk politics, because complete morons like you can’t stop yourself from taking the bait.

I really just can’t see past the interior design of these model years. Ugly ugly ugly. Porsche is nailing their interior design now though.

I think somebody needs a clown for their birthday! Scary clowns need love too.

This is my second biggest fear, right after the garbage disposal turning on while i’m trying to fish something out.

It never was ugly in the first place, that’s why. That Bangle 7-series, on the other hand.

Whatever. Riding the bus in SF I’ve seen: numerous nose-pickers, one ass-picker, toenail clippers, witnessed fights and dealt with various other unsavory smells and sights. My ex was nearly assaulted on one bus line on two different occasions. Now of course this varies from city to city and bus line to bus line, but I

Yes.

Definitely a question of priorities. Didn’t mean to crap on Corvettes too much. I’ve had fun riding in them, and being terrified in them. :) The new Corvette is the first one I’ve ever looked at and thought “wow that’s really nice all around”. I could imagine owning one if I had the means.

I’m pretty surprised STI wasn’t on the list above.

Not to get into a holy war, but riding in C5 vette reminds me of every shitty American car through the 80's and 90's that ingrained in my an inherent dislike of American cars. Body panel gaps that don’t line up, meh styling, crappy plastic everywhere, creaks squeaks and rattles throughout. Interiors are certainly not

I’m probably a little biased, but I’m going to vote 2006-2008 BMW Z4M. You can very easily find convertibles in the $20-25k range. If you’re lucky you can find a coupe for about $25k. Cars in this model year range will not be easy to get loans for however, so you’d most likely need cash.
The good: 333hp RWD fun;

Wow that is comical almost. Well played, police.

I checked out his FB. Yup, grade-A asshole.

I was already dubious about this article because I just spoke to a friend that drove one. He knows his BMWs and absolutely loved it. Then I got to where you said “the M2 doesn’t look as good as the 1M” and pretty much just stopped reading. I can’t believe a thing you say at this point.
