Spot the person that hasn’t played the game and is just riding the hate train for fun.

I wanted this game to do well because I want Bioware as a studio to survive and make more games.

The cosmetic options in anthem are robust and pretty damn great. Might be a little overkill IMO.

Weird to see Bryce Harper Trout fishing before mid-October.

I think your and Harper’s definitions of “upper-decking” are probably different

Counterpoint:

I would much prefer the parents of 3-13 year olds to march onto a plane wearing a sandwich board that reads “I’m aware of my responsibility to make sure my child does not kick your seat, throw food, or otherwise disturb you. Please let me know if I’m failing”

I feel like they’re a replacement for glasses? Does anyone in the game actually wear glasses?

IGC agents were “called to investigate a patron for possibly cheating at a table game.” ... The statement didn’t specify which game Jones was playing.

I completely agree.

I'm not sure it's fair to compare an early release to the time something like destiny has had to refine on years of full release.  Destiny 1 on release had a crap load of the same issues. They've had 6 years of live time with polish and feedback to get to this point, plus the years of development before release.  So

What you speak for every gamer in the entire universe? Your opinion is law? We get it. You don’t like it. Bad bad Bioware for making a game not exclusively tailored to your needs. Now go away and play something more to your exacting standards while the rest of us get on with enjoying a game and having fun with our

Honestly, I absolutely love Anthem.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: all of these reviews make me feel guilty for enjoying Anthem.

I actually love coming back between missions and talking to all the weird NPCs. I think their dialogue is pretty fun (sexy fun) and don’t really care if it doesn’t “add up to something” down the line. I obviously don’t want it to be like real life, where I meet dozens of people a day whom I will never care about or

Here’s one: ignore the reviews, 90% of which are for a version of the game that doesn’t exist anymore.

Was apprehensive, but fired it up last night to play the tutorial. I ended up playing until 3 AM. If you like loot shooters, you’ll like this.

Oh and if you play Collossus, know that you can ram enemies when you have

I think the anti-train was heavy on my mind too. I’m about 10 hours in and I see myself playing this for a long long time.

The single player portion of the game is a fully realized masterpiece with an extremely minimal number of bugs. There are flaws in the design of the game, but many of them enable there to as many gameplay features as there are, so I can’t imagine how those flaws could be altered without losing some of the greatness of
