Former (apologies in advance) professional track and field/cross country runner here who spent about the last ten years of my career battling bad injury after ever more bad injury. Looking back, the only thing in life I cared about were my performances, which sucked because I was always sidelined, and I was just super

I initially was going to go with an Arby’s reference

Hope Solo is not afraid to show that she’s got beef

_____ swings at Rivers first is the answer

But Mike Miller was the greatest shooter the worlds ever seen in that one series. He ran down the court like me, a 40 year old with broken legs, but he shot the ball like Reggie Miller vs the Knicks.

I’m really going to miss those weeknight games against SMU and Tulsa.

You’re doing the lord’s work

I do.

Got to think many elite horizontal jumpers and a lot of great explosive athletes in general can HJ 6'7". It’s just not a very good mark, compared to everything else which is absolutely all world.

This was the photo that let me know Jeremy Lin still plays basketball.

That’s like saying, hey in addition to 30ppg, 15rpg, and 11 apg, he also get .5 steals per game!

As a recovering Knicks fan and kind of an anti Durant fan, I really effing hope this happens.

Was a student at Uconn in 99. Don’t tell my wife, they FF on campus was the best weekend of my life.

I always click on Francesa posts and I always regret it.

I don’t see how this is any different than any other OT. In 04 1500 there were 3-4 guys in the 1500 final and the others pushed the pace to try and make it a 3:34 race, which it wasn’t.

I used to celebrate the comment section of TBL before the first acquisition. A pretty loyal and funny group. The day they were sold was the day that ended.

Who would ever want one of these?

Who would ever want one of these?

I’ve found “those willing to headbutt” and especially “those who remove their cap in order to set up headbutt” typically fall into the “those to avoid skirmishing with” and/or “those who attend NFL games” category.

Boy, that Mitch Hedberg sure was full of shit.

That one year when Uconn wasn’t totally awful and played OU in a bowl game (I think it was that year, maybe the previous), they had a guy do this twice. Both times he did a half wave and stopped like it was a fair catch, then he took off. Can’t recall the actual outcome, but that shit happened and it worked.
