I have been fighting myself over this lately too! Typically I am totally against summer clothing in spring, it seems ridiculous to whip out the tanks and flip-flops this early and yet, damn, its hot right now in nyc...

I actually have the ruffled layers skirt in black and its really not very short (and i'm a rather tall 5'9), i think in this case its just the styling... its also an amazingly cute cute skirt in reality
