Same here. I prefer Pocket Casts. Last time I used Overcast, it wouldn’t let me stream podcasts. It only allowed me to download them. This is a deal breaker for me. Has this changed?

No thats very incorrect. Im a developer, and iOS 9 broke a ton of libraries which we use in our apps. It has more to do with changes apple made in their api.

At least Outlook 2016 works on it. Strongly doubt Microsoft will offer a fix for 2011.
