I’m not sure I get the point of Knoxville doing actual stunts in this movie, other than making it a talking point on the ads. It makes sense in Jackass, but if the rest of this is fake, why not leave the stunts to the professionals?

It was in B&R, he uses it while bidding on Poison Ivy. But you are correct, its said “Forever” on the card.
The Spirit might be the worst I’ve ever seen. Catwoman and Ghost Rider run a close second and third. One of the worst things about The Spirit is how Frank Miller decided to make it in the style of his own Sin City instead of staying true to the original comic.
Exactly, that’s why I assumed it was a commercial, like the M&Ms fake trailer ad that plays before movies. Hell, at this point I’d rather see an actual M&Ms movie than this Uncle Drew nonsense.
I’ve seen that Uncle Drew trailer before almost every movie I’ve been to the last month. Every time, it feels like I’m waiting for the punchline, like it’s a commercial pretending to be a trailer for an actual movie. But apparently its an actual movie.
Gor-la-mi
Surprised Throne of Blood was not on this list. Some of the shots on Westworld were borrowed straight from that movie.
Had they just waited until December, Solo would have to only contend with Aquaman (which I’m sure it would have trounced), and then it would have all of January to make bank, like the past three SW have.
Oh wow, that was quick. Was the entire season only four or five episodes long? I watched the first one and didn’t bother after that, but that seems like it was just a month ago.
Curious if they even bother airing the remaining episodes of this season.
Exactly. Even if in her head she thinks a joke like that was funny, why risk the success of your newly-rebooted show by putting your idiotic thoughts out there for the world to see?
So the trailers for this make it look like Anne Hathaway’s character is the person they are stealing from, but the posters make it look like she’s part of the crew, suggesting she’s the inside person on the job. It’s like they are giving away their own plot twist.
2112 was the first Rush album I ever purchased (first on vinyl, then cassette, then CD), so I have a fondness based mostly in nostalgia. However, I never seem to listen to it anymore, there’s a lot of other Rush albums that are more worth my time..
Went to a Friday matinee of Solo, and had a good time. One thing I noticed that was different about this movie as opposed to other SW movies, that that it just basically focused on the main character and his journey, and nothing else. In any other Star Wars movie, they tend to cut to different locations, showing what…
The person writing in the note can specify time/place/method of death, as longs as it’s within the realm of possibility. As you go further into the story, you will see just how complex/convoluted some of Light’s methods are.
As soons as Qi’ra said “Teras Kasi” I almost instinctively wanted to boo and throw things at the screen
I never get tired of watching Seinfeld. Even after Larry David left, when everyone assumed the show would go downhill, it was still firing on all cylinders, could have gone on forever in my opinion. The fake “reunion episode” in that season of Curb was hilarious, it just made me hungry for more.
As much as I’d like to see new episodes, that finale was just about perfect and it’s almost better to leave as-is.
Yes to this!
I would have at least like to see Treme go a couple of more seasons, maybe introduce new characters and phase out some of the ones that weren’t going anywhere.
