They're like a kiddie version of the Evas from Neon Genesis Evangelion
Happened last year too, Moana was much better than Finding Dory (and I liked Finding Dory)
Something's rotten…
Brave is okay, it just feels more like a middling Disney movie than the usual Pixar quality. The ads promised this mysterious almost Miyazaki-esque tale with a strong female lead. Then it ended up being middle-of-the-road slapstick and whimsy, with a large dollop of the same story from Brother Bear.
Including this one, Pixar has now released 18 movies. The first 11 were all good-to-great movies. Then Cars 2 had to kill the winning streak, and it's been hit-and-miss ever since. Maybe Coco later this year will be a swing back in the right direction.
Cars was the first movie I took my oldest son to see in the theater, when he was two. It wasnt the best Pixar outing, but it was kind of sweet, and my kid loved it. Had they left it alone and not piled on with sequels and spinoffs, I might still enjoy that movie more than I do now.
I almost exclusively played as Lei in the arcade version, he's great.
Tekken 7 is the first Tekken game I've bought since Tekken 3, and I gotta say, it's pretty awesome. Tons of new characters (or at least, new to me), but most of the old favorites are there, so I can still button-mash my way to victory with cheap characters like Paul.
Tekken and Soul Calibur are in the same universe because of Yoshimitsu, Soul Calibur and Star Wars are in the same universe, Street Fighter and Marvel are in the same universe, it's all connected!
Duck season! Fire!
Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more
When Jonah demanded tickets to the hottest show on Broadway, somehow I knew the punchline was going to be "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark"
I"ll bet Universal at least goes though with whatever was planned next (I think it's Bride of Frankenstein). Now if that one flops, they might just call it quits on this not-well-thought-out project.
Just watched the Stanley Cup Finals, and I'm glad the Penguins won again. I have nothing against Nashville, they are a very talented team, but the endless "You Suck!" chants from the home team crowd was getting really obnoxious.
FRIEZAAAAAA!!!!!!
Single female lawyer, having lots of sex…
Saw Wonder Woman again, have to say I liked it maybe a little better the second time around. I didn't care for the final act at first, but now it doesn't bother me. Also caved and took my oldest son to see Baywatch, after a week of him asking me about it. Probably the worst movie I've seen this year, it was basically…
He's not worthy of the giant cotton swab!
